Berraco del Madidi is an EcoCamp located in the Bolivian rainforest of the Madidi National Park. We specialize in multiday trips and are devoted to ecotourism and the conservation of the region. We are located deeper in the jungle than any other operator in the National Park, making it possible for our guests to feel the real jungle and not just appreciate it from the edges.

Berraco del Madidi has extensive experience in hosting families and guests of all ages. The high-level equipment and first-aid training ensures the safety of all guests, young and old. We promise a personalized service, offering accommodations to a maximum of eight guests at one time. Guests sleep under private traditional huts and inside tents that are equipped with towels, linens and mattresses. Also, there is a cabin option that is great for families and big groups; booking well in advance is required.

Programs are personalized and flexible, allowing them to be adapted according to the interests of our guests. The camp can also provide a private guide if your interests don’t coincide with those of your group.

The adventure activities offered include birdwatching, fishing, guided hiking, local craftwork, the study of medicinal plants, survival skills workshops, traditional rafting and trips to the local indigenous communities.

All our tours are led by professional indigenous guides. While these adventures can sometimes be physically challenging, the EcoCamp is completely relaxing and comfortable. The EcoCamp is integrated into the surrounding rainforest through the use of local materials. Berraco del Madidi invites you to relax in hammocks, enjoy traditional meals and truly experience life in the jungle.
