How Do I Get There?
From Villarrica, take the main road toward Lican Ray. After 6 km (past the Voipir bridge), turn on the left (there is a bus stop) toward Huincacara. Follow the street for 12,5 km and you will see Huincaterra on the right side.
Huincaterra Mountain Camp is a glamping property located at the foot of the Villarrica volcano in the south of Chile (Región de la Araucanía), where you can enjoy absolute tranquility. Huincaterra has cabins, shelters, treehouses, a beautiful restaurante and a relaxing Spa area with hot tubs and sauna. Our countryside near the Villarrica National Park, forms a river, springs, native forest and a hill with rock formations at its peak -- reaching 1200 meters high. Huincaterra is a property committed to nature and the environment, partly using energy from the sun and water. They are professionals in tourism, trained to deliver quality service for your stay making it pleasant and memorable. The mission is to protect and respect nature; offering tourism that does not interfere with nature, but let it live, so you can learn from and enjoy it.
Cozy rustic cabin with two separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Living, dining room, kitchen, 2 sofa bed (one in the living room and the other in a bed room) and outside a roofed place to grill. This accomodation is about 400 meters from our restaurant. It has a independent entrance.
Cozy cottage brought from the Alps of Austria with a bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, living room. Surrounded by new native forest in a quiet and natural environment. It is 200 meters from our restaurante and Spa area.
Each pod has 2 twin beds (duvets and sheets included), a frigobar, electric heater, and 220V. There is an outer table bank as well as an exclusive bathroom with hot water shower for each pod just a few meters away. Each pod has has a view and access to the river. Laundries and dishwasher located in the common area.
These shelters were built up in a privileged location next to a gazebo overlooking the valley and Villarrica volcano, in between the native forest.
Each treehouse has 2 beds equipped with duvets and linen, table with bench outside, bathroom with exclusive shower (hot water) for each treehouse a few meters from them, kitchen with dishwasher located in the common area, Volcano view, and 12V electricity.

Explore nearby trails for hiking and be on the lookout for the wealth of native trees and animals like palo santo, wild boar, foxes and wild cats. As well as an incredible view of the Villarica volcano.
