How Do I Get There?

Representatives from the property will meet guests at the Kirikau Hall at the junction of the Tawata and Kirikau road at 3 pm Friday. Secure parking available. Arrangements will be confirmed at the time of booking.

The jet boat leaves from the Kirikau landing.

Guests will travel on the river for approximately 30 minutes downstream to the home of Posh Pioneers.

Posh Pioneers are situated in the heart of the picturesque King Country, New Zealand. The only way to get to the property is via jetboat, which means they are well off the beaten track!  They have six pioneer-style accommodation wagons furnished with antique beds and luxurious bedding. Activities include canoeing, swimming, hiking, campfire cooking, bird watching, jetboating and much much more. 

** Please note: Property is only open Fridays through Mondays. These are all-inclusive 3 night/4 day packages that cover food, accommodations, and activities.
