Pets are welcome at this property. Your furry loved ones may come if they are house trained, but it is asked that you pick up after them outside, wipe their paws, and keep them off of the furniture. The neighborhood is very mindful about the wildlife in the area, so dogs should be kept on a leash at all times when outside.
Enter “59 ch. des penseurs, la Conception” into your Google Maps. It will take you most of the way. When you arrive at a sign for Chic Shack, follow the directions below:
You will come to a fork in the road. Towards the left, you will see a sign for Chic Shack, enter the project. Continue down the road for about 150m. You’ll notice the garbage bins on your right. Keep going for another 150m until you see a small street named "des penseurs" on your left. Turn left on "des penseurs". Continue until you come to a dead end. There are two houses here. hintercabin is the one on the right with the number 59 on the birch tree ahead of you. There’s room for two cars there. Be careful as you walk down the steps! They may be slippery in winter months.

hintercabin is a modern cabin, recently noted by Dwell as one of the "Glass Cabins You Can Rent Right Now for a Dream Getaway" and by The Spaces as one of the "Cabins where you can watch the colours change." The cabin feels remote and peaceful, though is only a 15-minute drive from Mont-Tremblant, and near many other nature parks and trails. There is a private dock and access to the lake, as well as a canoe available mid spring to mid fall. The cabin was built with nature in mind, and encourages living simply and minimally. The setting of the house is serene and free from every day distractions. Amazing views of nature in all directions.
It is recommended that guests arrive before sundown in order to find the house with ease. It is dark in that area at night and can be difficult to read the small road signs.
Please note: holiday weekends have a 3-day minimum (which applies to Valentine's Day, Easter, Victoria Day, St. Jean Baptiste, Canada Day, American Independence Day, Labor Day Weekend, Canadian Thanksgiving and American Thanksgiving). Winter holiday and new years season have a 4-day minimum.
