Reservation and Cancellation Policy
Reservations cancelled prior to 30 days will receive full refund minus any payment processing fees. Within 30 days, refunds (minus fees) will be granted IF the property can be fully rebooked for the reservation period.

Pet Policy
One approved pet is welcome with a pet deposit and fee. This property allows one dog per pet guidelines. Pets cannot be left alone in cabins. There is a $40 fee for dogs and a refundable $50 pet deposit.

From Asheville, travel north on 19/23/future I26, take exit 21 (New Stock Road), turn left off the ramp and travel to the end. Turn left on Monticello Road and follow to the end. Turn right on Old Marshall Highway, follow 4.9 miles to Riverside Escapes on the left (sign).

This island escape offers the opportunity to "get away from it all', but be just 10 minutes from shops & restaurants and 25 minutes from downtown Asheville. Glampers park on the mainland and cross a swinging bridge to reach this private cabin just 500 feet from parking, but a world away!
Guests will enjoy the recently renovated rustic cabin that has a large partially covered porch to enjoy the 'middle of nowhere' feeling of being on an island. The Island Retreat is designed for the adventurous. This rustic retreat provides the ideal quarters for romantic getaways, fishermen, authors, bikers, hikers and the free spirited looking to get close to nature… but not too close!
