Take Highway 95 from Coeur d'Alene or 195 from Spokane going south. As you arrive in Lewiston, follow the signs for Highway 95 south/Highway 12 East. About 10 miles east of Lewiston, the road divides. Be sure to follow Highway 12 East. This will keep you along the river. Pass through Orofino, Kamiah and Kooskia. We are at Milepost 90, about 16 miles east of Kooskia.
From Lewiston or other points west, drive east on US Highway 12 through Orofino, Kamiah and Kooskia. Syringa is 16 miles east of Kooskia, Idaho, at Milepost 90.
Turn west on US Highway 12 at Lolo, Montana, which is roughly 12 miles south of Missoula. Cross the Montana/Idaho border on US Highway 12 and follow the Lochsa River. At Milepost 97, you'll come to the confluence of the Lochsa and Selway Rivers. Proceed another seven miles to Syringa at Milepost 90.
From Boise, McCall or points south, head north on US Highway 95. At the town of Grangeville, turn east and go through the town center to US Highway 13, which will take you northeast to Stites and Kooskia. At Kooskia, turn east on US Highway 12 and proceed 16 miles to Syringa at Milepost 90.
Once you arrive in Syringa you can't miss the sign for River Dance Lodge. Please check in at the Syringa Café on the Lodge property.
If you plan to fly, the closest major airport is in Missoula, just over two hours away. Lewiston, Idaho, has a regional airport and is two hours west. You can also fly to Spokane (four hours northwest) or Boise (five hours south) and drive to our lodge.
