How Do I Get There?
The camp is approximately 90 -120 minutes drive from Brisbane and the Gold Coast, entering the region via Beaudesert. (GPS devices do NOT always provide accurate instructions). Mobile phone signal drops about 15 minutes from the camp, but you will be given directions at least a week before your arrival date.
View Google MapsIn a relatively untouched pocket of Lost World paradise, Nightfall Wilderness Camp sits delicately beside the crystal-clear, tumbling headwaters of Christmas Creek and Queensland’s ancient Lamington National Park rainforests. The Nightfall glamping experience steps away from the excess and complications of modern life, redefining luxury through architect-inspired, hand-built, permanent safari tents. Experience sumptuous fire-cooked cuisine and the relaxed feeling of staying with old friends.
Balance and rejuvenation flow easily in the pared-back surrounds, the pure fresh air and the tranquility of the forest. Heart, body and spirit are nurtured through a tonic of immersion in nature, evocative nights under-the-stars and the intimacy of well-spaced luxury tent accommodation (with fireplaces for winter). Nightfall Wilderness Camp is limited to only six travelers at any one time, ensuring privacy, intimacy and conviviality. Couples can relish the seclusion of their private tents, while some couples also enjoy mixing with the other like-minded experiential travelers in camp and sharing the tree-change lifestyle that Nightfall is so proud of.
Nightfall Wilderness Camp is flourishing. Together share a passion for living sustainably and evolving the nightfall dream: there will always be food gardens to harvest and sow, forests to conserve, plants and animals species to record, local produce to sample, wine to drink and stories of heroic ventures, history and raw simplicity to share. If you’re keen to share our off-the-beaten-track glamping experience, you will need to book well in advance.
