A Cube, Pod or Dome To Let The Outside In.
Written by: Alexandria Autrey
Cubes, pods and domes represent a very unique category in the glamping industry. Each one of these titles can be used interchangeably and therefore the concept of these glamping accommodations are very similar. Normally cubes, pods and domes are a single room structure that is either complelety round or square. These glamping structures can be suspended in the air, over outcroppings or set on the ground. In addition, most of these strucutres accompany an eco-friendly intent in both how they are built and how they exist. Each one has a minimal environmental footprint to their surroundings. It is safe to say we are a fan of glamping and smoothing the edges of roughing it...and we’re not the only ones. This leisure activity is attracting a new market into the camping and tourism industry, full of people who like the idea of camping but hate the idea of roughing it. It seems you’ve noticed this too and are keen to join the staycation party in the travel industry. Take a look at some of the best cubes, pods and domes we have to offer someone who wants to bring the outside in, in the most unique ways possible.
