Chilly mornings , warm days to cool nights—the mild temperature is very dry, rarely climbs above 75 degrees. Nights can be quite chilly and get as low as 40–50 degrees.
Sequoia High Sierra Camp offers 32 deluxe canvas tented cabins that are comfortable, yet reflective of the great wilderness setting—essentially a tent-en-suite. They measure approximately 330 square feet (14' x 24') on a fixed platform with canvas side walls as well as a roof, doors, and shuttered windows. The bungalows are situated throughout the hillside amongst a red fir and lodgepole pine forest. The location provides wonderful views of Kings Canyon and privacy for each bungalow.

Three daily meals are included with each one-night stay at the camp, and all go far beyond traditional campfire fare. Incorporating sustainable, local ingredients, the camp's healthy cuisine is served alfresco in the dining pavilion.
Frequently during the summer months, there are swift moving thundershowers that enter our region. If rain is predicted during your stay, you will want to bring a second pair of hiking shoes (in case your shoes become damp during the hike into camp). Bugs are almost nonexistent.
