Blakely was raised in the Southern U.S. before jetting off to work in film in Los Angeles and then advertising in New York City.  Her latest adventure is a year-long trip around the world with her husband.  From African sunrises to Japanese sunsets, they soak in every drop of the world and give back all they can.  As they explore, learn, and get lost, thrilled, and changed through distant lands, she recounts it all on her travel blog and enables couch travelers everywhere.
